Swanside QR Code Tour Nørrebro
I created a pop-up tour experience called the Swanside QR Tour to share a slice of Nørrebro neighborhood overlooking the lakes in Copenhagen, Denmark in May of 2021. The concept was to revive some public awareness and social engagement of the local spots where business had kind of fizzled in the wake of corona.
This one-day event featured a special fold-out map with a selection of cute cafes and quirky shops. I talked with shop-owners and campaigned to get my favorite locations involved. Each participating location hosted a QR code nearby or on their shop window to scan.
On the day and time of the event opening, invitees could walk about and scan the QR codes with phones to learn about the shops, reveal gifts or treats and earn some codes and clues to help solve a final event challenge puzzle. The more locales visited, the more clues collected. The first 10 people that completed the final puzzle won neighborhood establishment prizes.
