I adore a small and intimate concert! I try to catch live acoustic music when I can. When I'm traveling, I love a So Far Sounds concerts in particular. Their curation of up-and-coming artists, quirky locations, and the attentive audience are so unique and lovely! It's worth signing up for lottery tickets on the website. The following collection of concerts took place in Paris, New York City and Copenhagen.

Nromally, if I can, I carry my notebook with me so I can draw details live. But if not, I try to capture a little video of the musical experience and then draw from those rreferences. The live experience always creates more exciting lines than if I draw from a recording. But it's still just as fun. And I appreciate how the drawing can bring me right back to the moment, the buzz, the ephemeral beauty of live music.
